In the past couple of years, Green Day have won a multiple amount of awards with songs from American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown.

From the top 20 songs of the last decade, presumabley, here are the awards they won for their songs:

OBVIOUSLY us Green Day Fans know the real lyrics to this song, so will find this quite funny, but for people who don't know the lyrics, they probably won't get it!

Apologies and Latest Awards

I am so sorry about missing all this wonderful Green Day Postage time, but I promise I'll make it all up to you!
Firstly, Green Day has been nominated for 'Best International Band' in the Meteor Ireland Awards. They are up against the Black Eyed Peas, Florence & The Machine, Kasabian, and Muse. Click here for a complete list of categories and other general information.

Also, and unfortunately, Spin Magazine have come out with the results for the awards this year (Well, technically last year) and Green Day pulled in and stopped in second place to Pearl Jam in 3 of their nominated for awards. Oh, but don't fret because of your lack of voting just yet, because the band did not go home empty handed, well, at least, Bille Joe didn't!
That's right my fellow Green Day fans, Bille Joe Armstrong happily walked away with the award 'S*x God of the Year'

Johnathan Ross Show Performance

I'd been waiting ALL day for this performance, and when the Johnathan Ross Show finally started, I was so excited - sadly, Green Day weren't on 'til last.

So, I waited, and I waited, until, during Christopher Walker's Performance, he was asked to play Johnathan's game, Celebrity or Monster? Green Day were asked to come out from backstage to help Christopher with the game.

I couldn't stop smiling once they came on stage, knowing that they'd be back for their interview after Christopher.

They didn't have much say in what was happening in the game, but, I didn't care, they were coming back to sit down and 'chat' with Johnathan, right?

Wrong.

They came back, only to sing their new single, East Jesus Nowhere.

Their 4 minute performance completely cheered my entire day up, but I was sort of let down because I was expecting to see them being interviewed.

It was great to see them though! I don't know how they keep on going!
They'd just come back from a concert in Manchester to be on this show! I'm sure they're completely wrecked now though!!!

After seeing Know Your Enemy, 21 Guns and 21st century Breakdown go gold we were all wondering if any other of Green Day’s latest songs would manage to go gold too.
A lot of us Green Day fans probably knew that, of course Green Day would get another gold record, and of course, we were right!!!
Green day are back with yet ANOTHER hit single, and this time, it’s East Jesus Nowhere!
This is the song from their latest album, 21st Century Breakdown, which, from my perspective, has the most genre of ‘Rock’ in it!
